I took up photography in 2018 to capture some better photos of my kids growing up. That hasn’t worked out like I had hoped as they don’t really want their pictures taken.
So I moved to Macro photography for a bit. Macro photography is really interesting and fun. There is so much to see in the small world of Macro.
My next big purchase was my Sigma 150-600. This has seen a lot of time attached to my camera. I really do enjoy wildlife photography.
Since then I have purchased a few other lenes and have tried out a few different genres of photography.
It doesn’t matter what style of photography it is, I am willing to give it a try.
I have to admit I do have a slight case of G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) but I feel it helps me learn what gear there is and what it can do to help me in my journey.
Currently I use Nikon cameras. I have no issues with them and they work great.

My journey began with the iconic Brownie Starmite II, a classic starting point for many camera enthusiasts. After those early shots, my focus soon shifted to the durable and legendary Pentax line, starting with the Pentax K1000, and eventually the advanced Pentax K70. Today, I capture my world using an Olympus OM-D which has been a new learning curve, and adventure into mirrorless cameras, representing a continuous dedication to the craft. With a passion for all types of photography and a commitment to always learning something new. My work invites you to enjoy the images captured through years of photographic evolution.
